The council is reminding people to allow plenty of time to register to vote, if they need to, or apply for postal or proxy votes.

People should also check they have the right photo ID, which will be needed to vote in a UK General Election.

Andy Baldwin, Returning Officer at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “We are encouraging our residents to make sure they are ready for the General Election, so they don’t lose their vote. It takes five minutes to register and to check whether you have the right photo ID. There is still time to get sorted and the Elections Team can help if you need it”.
